Screening of Entre Nos in Support of the Dream Fellowship Program

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

The Dream Fellowship Program, an initiative of the New York Immigration Coalition in partnership with the Fund for Public Advocacy, will provide a group of exceptional Dreamers with scholarships and internships at organizations that educate and empower immigrant families across New York City.

Please support the Dream Fellowship Program by attending this screening. Each donation will take these students one step closer to graduating from college and achieving their dreams.

On October 3rd, the Tribeca Film Institute will host a screening of Paola Mendoza and Gloria La Mortes’ award winning film “Entre Nos,” a heart wrenching story based on the Mendoza family’s own immigrant experience, in support of the Dream Fellowship Program. Additionally, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas of Define American and Paola Mendoza will hold a discussion following the film about the importance of comprehensive immigration reform. This will be a night of true star power – people emboldened by their passion for those most affected by our broken immigration system.

You may purchase tickets here: http://fundforpublicadvocacy.org/dream

Time: Monday, October 3 6:00-9:00 p.m. Where: Tribeca Cinemas
